Job summary

Rite Rug in Ocala, FL seeks a motivated Design Consultant to join our mobile showroom team. You will guide customers through design and flooring selections, leveraging our range of Rite Rug products to close sales and build lasting relationships.

This role offers a base salary plus uncapped commissions, with top performers earning well into six figures. Responsibilities include measuring spaces, coordinating installation, processing payments, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flooring experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Self-starter and people person with strong communication.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.
• Comfortable with computer systems and software.
• Eager to learn and grow in the role.
• Experience with Measure Square or RFMS Measure is a plus.

Job Details: Location: Ocala, FL. Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 base + commission/month.

Design Consultant – Mobile Showroom. The Design Consultant works within our mobile showrooms to help our customers with the design and selection of our flooring products. If you want to be paid what you are worth, we want to talk to you.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordinating the selection and sales process along with building and maintaining customer relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
• Conduct sales to outside retail customers, B2B sales and area realtors
• Determine customers needs and match appropriately with our products
• Promote and sell all Rite Rug flooring products and services
• Take measurements for installation
• Receive and process payments according to Rite Rug procedures
• Follow up to ensure that the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
• Develop a thorough knowledge of all flooring products
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Flooring experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a company vehicle
• Must be a self-starter and a people person
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills
• Be able to work independently and problem solve
• Be comfortable working with and learning computer systems
• Must be eager to learn and to grow

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using Measure Square or RFMS Measure software

This position will offer a base salary plus commission structure and training will be provided.
