Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in Direct Tax Technology to lead projects involving MS SQL Server, SharePoint, and MS Power BI. You will implement third-party tax applications and automate multinational tax operations while building a strong team and delivering high-quality client service.

The role is based in Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, or Houston with a 60% in-person hybrid model; travel may be required to support engagements across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax Technology, MIS, CS, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Approved technical certification, CPA license, Bar membership, or progress toward one qualification.
• Strong interest in technology and its use in business processes.
• Excellent communication and business writing skills.
• Problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial approach to work.
• Strong organizational and client-serving consulting skills.
• Ability to lead a team and mentor counselees.
• Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
