Job summary

Scioto Trails is hiring a Direct Support Team Lead for a residential home in Piketon, Ohio. The role leads Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities and to promote daily living skills.

You will supervise care, ensure health and safety, manage scheduling, document services, and collaborate with Case Managers and leadership to meet program goals. Strong communication, crisis intervention, and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and valid driver’s license.
• 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities (DD); 2 years preferred.
• Willing to obtain and maintain Medication Certification and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals to promote skill building in daily living activities.
• Ensure health and safety, monitor diet and medications, and handle crisis situations.
• Document services per ISP and incident reports; ensure proper scheduling and reporting.
