Job summary

Scioto Trails is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Waverly and Piketon, Ohio. The DSP supports individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities by assisting with daily living, personal hygiene, meal prep, and household tasks to foster independence and choice.

No prior experience required; we provide paid orientation and training, along with benefits. Must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to work evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with hygiene, meal prep, and daily living tasks.
• Support independence, choice and empowerment.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
