Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Supervisor in Hendersonville, NC. The role supervises two or more Direct Support Employees in residential homes, coordinating activities, reviewing performance, and providing training and support to ensure quality person-centered services.

Responsibilities include on-call coverage, implementing supports per Individual Support Plans, and maintaining a safe, clean living environment for people supported. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or an Associate Degree in a health-related field.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• CPR, First Aid certification a plus; NCI and/or MedTech certifications beneficial.
• Must pass background check and drug screening; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of two or more employees.
• Interviewing, hiring recommendations, and training of staff.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; review performance.
• Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the rotation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept home for the people we support.
• Assist in implementing services per Individual Support Plan and resolve staff issues.
