Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Supervisor in Statesville, NC. The role involves supervising two or more direct care staff, coordinating residential home operations, and ensuring quality support for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and at least one year of relevant experience. CPR/first aid certification is a plus; on-call weekend coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in a health-related field preferred.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Valid driver's license; ability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus.
• Pre-employment screening: criminal background checks and credentialing as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of two or more employees in assigned residences/facilities.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support Employees.
• Work assigned time in the residential home/facility and provide on-call coverage as needed.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee issues.
• Ensure employees meet training requirements and attend events.
• Support people we serve to achieve personal goals per their Individual Support Plan.
• Carry out the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional.
• Maintain clean and safe homes and yards.
