Job summary

MyPath is hiring a Direct Support Supervisor to oversee a direct care team in a residential setting. You will supervise staff, train, coach, and mentor while ensuring client safety and welfare. Daily tasks include assisting with activities of daily living, cooking, and maintaining a clean home environment.

You will redirect behaviors, promote independence, and support meaningful activities for adults with disabilities, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to and from programs and training classes.
• Valid Driver’s License with 3 years of acceptable driving record.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff along with training, coaching and mentoring your team.
• Provide supervision of personnel and client care to enhance health, safety and welfare.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including physical assistance and personal cares.
• Redirect challenging behaviors and promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist with cooking and cleaning in the home; coordinate shifts and overtime as needed.
