Friendship Community Care is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional in Bryant, AR. The role supports clients with daily living tasks, transportation, and documentation in a home and community setting.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, assisting with meals, budgeting, and participation in activities while maintaining safety and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic, rates and percentages.
• Reasoning ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Physical demands: capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments with valid license.
• Maintain communication via logs and meetings about client needs and progress.
• Complete required documentation (reports, forms, logs).
• Follow Medicaid guidelines for vehicle mileage and billing.
• Report incidents or emergencies immediately.
• Contribute to Plan of Care and ensure safety and health.
• Assist with medication management and monitoring.
• Organize and carry out recreational activities for clients.
• Model professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
