Job summary

State of South Carolina seeks Direct Support Professionals for the Pee Dee Regional Center (ICF-IID) in Florence, SC. Directly support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, following individual plans, and ensuring safety, daily living activities, and community participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and special needs preferred.
• Knowledge of Therap and SCEIS Central for time/leave is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety per BSP, dining and lifting protocols.
• Mentor and guide entry-level Direct Support Professionals.
• Transport and supervise consumers to off-site appointments and activities.
• Collect data and maintain documentation per policies and plans.
• Report significant events and suspected abuse as required.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and support program activities.
