Job summary

Whole Life is seeking direct support professionals to assist adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities in Connecticut. The role focuses on ADL support, promoting independence, and community integration, while building trusting relationships with clients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting observations, and collaborating with care teams to implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, move, twist, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and walk for the majority of shift; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Must document care in English and communicate with clients and co-workers verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal prep.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support medical appointments.
