Whole Life is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Connecticut. DSPs provide person-centered care to individuals with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, supporting daily living activities, independence, and community integration.

The role emphasizes building trusting relationships with clients and families while ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being.

Competenze

Proof of High School diploma or GED.
Proof of valid drivers license and identity documents.
Ability to pass background checks, safe driving record, and Abuse Registry Check; post-hire Fit for Duty medical tests.
Must be able to stand, move, twist, bend, kneel, reach, lift and walk for most of shift; some positions up to 100 lbs unassisted.
Must document care in English and communicate clearly with clients and co-workers.

Mansioni

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support medical appointments.
Ensure a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote independence.
Document daily activities, observations, and incidents accurately; maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
Implement individualized care plans.
