Whole Life in Connecticut is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered care to adults with developmental and physical disabilities. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and help clients participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to document care in English and communicate with clients and staff.
• Must pass background and health screenings.
• Experience in group homes or direct support preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal prep.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage clients in social activities and community outings.
• Use mobility equipment with proper techniques.
• Document daily activities, observations, and incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
