Job summary

Our Own Lives seeks a Direct Support Professional II to empower individuals with IDD to live and participate in their communities. You will provide person-centered supports across residences, day programs, and community settings, guided by individualized service plans.

The role is part-time with potential to move to full-time; training is provided, and lived experience is valued. Expect 20–32 hours weekly at $17.93/hour, with benefits for 20+ hours and access to AFLAC and 401K options.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently in varied community settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Knowledge of community activities and local resources helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow state regulations and service definitions.
• Implement the Service Plan for each person served.
• Provide support with activities of daily living as needed.
• Document accurately and maintain records by end of shift.
• Promote safety and emergency procedures across sites.
