Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem roles with a pay range of $21.50–$26.50 per hour. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, teaching daily living skills, and ensuring safety and documentation. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and DDD screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
• Experience with individuals with I/DD preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
