Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across all New Jersey counties. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem roles with a pay range of $21.50 to $26.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, transportation, and documenting services. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 18+, valid driver's license and reliable vehicle;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Experience with I/DD is preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
