Job summary

Sheppard Pratt's Development and Intellectual Disabilities Services (DDA) seeks a direct care professional for the Odyssey Residential Program in Frederick, MD. You will help residents engage in daily activities, support mental health and wellbeing, and exercise judgment under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and a valid driver’s license with minimal points. Schedule includes Sundays 9a-5p and Mon/Tue 3p-11p shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active, non-provisional driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client participation in therapeutic and social group activities by understanding what motivates each individual.
• Implement individual client care plans to meet client needs and goals.
• Provide transportation and attend clients’ medical appointments.
