Sheppard Pratt's Development and Intellectual Disabilities Services (DDA) seeks a direct care professional for the Odyssey Residential Program in Frederick, MD. You will help residents engage in daily activities, support mental health and wellbeing, and exercise judgment under supervision.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and a valid driver’s license with minimal points. Schedule includes Sundays 9a-5p and Mon/Tue 3p-11p shifts.
Development and Intellectual Disabilities Services (DDA) at Sheppard Pratt offer programs devoted to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including residential programs that provide homes and person-centered supports. The Odyssey Residential Program provides single-family homes throughout the Frederick community to approved individuals. Pay rate: $18.50/hr.
Must be able to work the following schedule: Sunday: 9a-5p, Monday: 3p-11p, Tuesday: 3p-11p, Wednesday: OFF, Thursday: OFF, Friday: OFF, Saturday: OFF
This is a direct care opportunity to facilitate client involvement in meaningful activities of daily life to support their overall mental health and wellbeing. With training and ongoing experience, you will exercise discretion and independent judgement with general supervision.
