Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Alaska is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities and coordinate village-based services. You will assist the individual in accessing resources and work with the Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being.

The role requires strong communication and documentation skills, a high school diploma, and compassionate, community‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent/GED required or preferred.
• AA degree preferred helpful; experience in human services welcome.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate village-based services and access to resources.
• Work with Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being of the individual.
• Meet regularly with the individual and family to support self-sufficiency.
