Job summary

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Kasigluk, Alaska. You will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities and coordinate village-based services to promote self-sufficiency.

You will work with families and the Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being in the community. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED; related experience in human services is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; AA degree preferred.
• Experience in special education or developmental disability work preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate village-based services and assist access to resources.
• Work with Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being in the community.
