Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional for St. Mary’s to provide direct support to a person with developmental disabilities and coordinate services across the Yukon-Kuskokwim region.

You will work with family and village-based resources to promote self-sufficiency and safety. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with preference for related degrees or experience in human services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.
• Experience in special education, child/family health and development, counseling or community development preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support services to assigned individual with developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate village-based services and assist access to resources.
• Work with Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being of the individual.
