Job summary

Dreams With Wings Inc. seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide care, supervision, safety, and person-centered support within the Adult Day Training Program.

You will help individuals achieve independence and community inclusion, reporting to program leadership, and supporting state-regulated requirements. Role is essential; flexibility, teamwork, and responsiveness during emergencies are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old with one year of direct experience supporting individuals with IDD or autism.
• Ability to lift individuals as required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Annual TB test required.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model the mission, vision, core values, and professional standards.
• Provide individualized, person-centered support tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
• Promote dignity, rights, self-determination, and self-advocacy.
• Serve as a mandated reporter for abuse, neglect, or exploitation per policy and state regulations.
• Attend required trainings and support program operations, including vacations and events.

Skills
