Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live more independently.

You will assist with daily activities, accompany clients on community outings, and document changes in health and behavior to inform care plans. We offer full- and part-time shifts, daytime, evening, and overnight options, paid sick leave, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient approach to support independence.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to undergo a state and federal fingerprint background check.
• CPR certification and TB test may be provided.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with everyday activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene routines.
• Take individuals on community outings—appointments, errands, or just to enjoy the day.
• Track and document changes in overall health and behavior to support their care.
• Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
