Job summary

The Chimes, Inc. is seeking dedicated residential supports staff to provide compassionate care and daily living assistance to adults with developmental disabilities in a home setting.

You will support activities, mobility, personal care, and community participation as part of a person-centered program. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, push and assist individuals supported as required by the role.
• Driver's license and acceptable driving record required by agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Work in the residence of a person served as a personal support and engage with them in home and community activities.
• Provide supervision and training to adults with developmental disabilities to promote growth toward goals.
• Ensure the house is personalized and respects each person’s preferences and personality.
• Teach individuals to do as much as possible for themselves per program plans.
• Communicate with program staff regarding individual plans when requested.
• Use approved behavior plans and intervention strategies to help achieve goals.
