Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, provides direct support within residential settings in Ohio. This non-exempt, hourly role supports 4-6 individuals per program, delivering personal care, health maintenance, medication support, and community integration.

Direct Support Professionals follow individualized plans, document progress, and maintain confidentiality while respecting the rights of those served. A driver’s license and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service plans, including socialization, health maintenance, and skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, recreation, transportation, and community integration.
• Accurately document progress and maintain confidentiality; follow safety and reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with families, guardians and case managers to ensure quality care.
