Zusammenfassung

ResCare Community Living, a part of Sevita, is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with disabilities to live more independently. You will provide help with daily living, socialization, health monitoring, and community integration within residential or program-based settings.

Responsibilities include documentation, coordination with families and case managers, and adherence to health and safety policies.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have working knowledge of computers.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance when providing transportation may be required.

Aufgaben

• Deliver support per individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, and skill/behavioral development.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, and other activities of daily living.
• Accurately document progress and activity; maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain healthy and professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians and case managers; follow Sevita Customer Service Standards.
• Report any abuse, neglect, or incidents per policy and applicable requirements.

Ausbildung

High school diploma or equivalent

Six months of experience in human services

Must be 18 years of age

Working knowledge of computers
