Job summary

ResCare Community Living, part of Sevita, seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, person-centered care in residential settings. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and support individuals to live more independently.

You will document progress, follow program plans, and work as part of a team to promote dignity, safety, and community integration. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are preferred; must be 18+ and ready to work flexible

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred.
Six months of experience in human services preferred.
Must be 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license required.
Basic computer skills/typing

Responsibilities

Deliver support per service/program plans including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, skill/behavioral development.
Assist with activities of daily living: personal care, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, shopping.
Accurately document progress and activity; maintain confidentiality.
Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and case managers; follow Sevita customer service standards.
Report any abuse, neglect, or incidents per policy; follow health care directives.
