Job summary

The Arc Southern Chesapeake is hiring full-time Personal Support Professionals to assist individuals in the community, home, or recreational settings. Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and social support to promote independence and self-directed life choices.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driving license with a clean record, and access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• 18+ with a HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid MD driving license.
• Background check required by Maryland.
• No more than 2 points on driving record.
• Reliable vehicle for transporting individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with physical and personal management needs.
• Support with household management and transportation to maximize independence.
• Assist and/or dispense medication as certified.
• Foster friendships and social relationships for individuals.
• Maintain records and ensure confidentiality.
