Job summary

Supports is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide day-to-day support to individuals in Northeast Arkansas, including home maintenance, budgeting, and transportation assistance. You will document activities, manage schedules, and help individuals participate in community functions.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to plans, and ongoing training to support independence and skills development in a respectful, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work weekends or fill-in shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, day-to-day support, services, and resources as defined in the individuals' plan.
• Assist individuals in maintaining their homes in a neat, clean, and safe manner, including budgeting and menu planning.
• Support consumers in daily activities, transportation, school/work/community functions, and more.
• Complete required documentation (time sheets, calendars, medication records, incident forms, etc.).
• Promote community engagement and skill development in a secure, inclusive environment.
• Attend competency-based and ongoing training in Best Practices for individuals with disabilities.

Education
