Job summary

Merakey in Hummelstown, PA is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required; paid training provided.

You'll work a 10:30pm–7:00am shift (3rd shift) with every other weekend, supporting ADLs, mobility, meals, and community activities while maintaining documentation and safety standards. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
