Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in Portage, PA within our Home and Community Division. You will deliver direct care, support daily living activities, assist with mobility and personal care, and accompany individuals on community activities.

No prior experience required—paid training is provided. We offer flexible schedules, earnings up to $18.75 per hour, and a mission-driven team that values independence, safety, and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support and transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.

Pay Rate:

Earn up to $18.75/hour with election of Enhanced Pay option.

Shifts:

Combination of 3 pm - 12 am, 3 pm - 11 pm, and 7 am - 3 pm including weekends
