Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in Hummelstown, Middletown, and Harrisburg, PA. Pay is Up to $17/hr, up to $19/hr with Enhanced Pay option. Shifts include 1st shift (6:30 am - 3 pm) with no weekends or rotating weekends available.

No experience required; paid training provided. As a DSP, you will support adults with developmental disabilities with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, transportation, and community participation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• No experience required – paid training provided.
• Related experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
