Job summary

The Supported Living Group is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities in Connecticut. You will assist with daily living activities and may supervise tasks when hands-on care is not required.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years old. Training provided, with multiple shift options across town locations.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistant duties include eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other daily living activities.

• Direct Care Staff needed for multiple locations; positions available across shifts.

Multiple Shifts-

Tuesday and Thursday- 10am-6:30pm, Wednesday 12pm-3pm

Tuesday and Thursday- 10am-4pm

Personal Care Assistant (PCA): Provides assistance with the following: eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living; or supervision and cueing of these activities without actual hands-on assistance. Direct Care Staff needed as well for all locations. Hiring for multiple Positions.

Work Schedule

This job will require you to work in the homes and communities of the individuals we serve. While each individual may have different hours, we have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift responsibilities 7 days a week. This allows for flexibility in your work week. The majority of the individuals that we serve have services that require someone to be in their home 24 hours a day.

There are some individuals that are case by case basis where they have as little as 4 hours per day.
