Job summary

The Supported Living Group is seeking Personal Care Assistants to support individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities across Connecticut. You will help with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure safety in daily routines.

We offer flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license are required; excellent communication and a caring attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other daily living activities; or supervision and cueing without hands-on help.
• Direct care staff needed for all locations; multiple positions available.
• Work in clients' homes and communities; shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 7 days a week.

Job description

Founded and headquartered in Danielson in 2006, with additional program locations established in Avon and Bethany Connecticut, The Supported Living Group (SLG) provides industry leading non-medical community based and person centered support services throughout the state of Connecticut.

Multiple Shifts-

Monday and Thursday, 2pm-6pm

Monday 3pm-7am, Saturday 8am-1pm

Monday Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30am- 2:30pm

Personal Care Assistant (PCA):

Provides assistance with the following: eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living; or supervision and cueing of these activities without actual hands-on assistance. Direct Care Staff needed as well for all locations. Hiring for multiple Positions.

Work Schedule

This job will require you to work in the homes and communities of the individuals we serve. While each individual may have different hours, we have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift responsibilities 7 days a week. This allows for flexibility in your work week. The majority of the individuals that we serve have services that require someone to be in their home 24 hours a day.

There are some individuals that are case by case basis where they have as little as 4 hours per day.
