Job summary

The Supported Living Group in Connecticut is looking for compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities across our program locations, with focus on independence and personal growth for individuals we support.

You will assist with daily tasks, mobility, personal care, and routine development to foster self-sufficiency while promoting dignity and respect in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Desire to improve quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license, insurance and registration.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a personal cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household chores and tasks.
• Provide transportation to appointments.
• Support personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Teach life skills such as grocery shopping and budgeting.

WHO ARE WE?

Founded and headquartered in Danielson in 2006, with additional program locations established in Avon and Bethany Connecticut, The Supported Living Group (SLG) provides industry leading non-medical community based and person centered support services throughout the state of Connecticut.

Shifts available: Sunday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm and 11:00pm-8:00m

Some hands on care, and stand to lift use required.
