Job summary

The Supported Living Group is seeking Personal Care Assistants to support individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities across Connecticut. Flexible scheduling includes 7am–7pm on Sundays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with additional shifts available. You will help with daily activities and provide compassionate, person-centered care.

Responsibilities cover eating, bathing, dressing, hygiene, and supervision as needed, in-home and community settings. 18+ and reliable transport required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a personal cell phone.
• Experience working with disabled individuals preferred.
• Excellent communication and willingness to work as a team.
• Commitment to health and wellbeing of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and other daily living activities.
• Supervise and cue activities when hands-on help is not required.
• Provide support in clients' homes and communities across CT.
• May require 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift availability seven days a week.

Personal Care Assistant (PCA):

Provides assistance with the following: eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living; or supervision and cueing of these activities without actual hands-on assistance. Direct Care Staff needed as well for all locations. Hiring for multiple Positions.

Work Schedule

This job will require you to work in the homes and communities of the individuals we serve. While each individual may have different hours, we have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift responsibilities 7 days a week. This allows for flexibility in your work week. The majority of the individuals that we serve have services that require someone to be in their home 24 hours a day.

There are some individuals that are case by case basis where they have as little as 4 hours per day.
