Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional for part-time 2nd shift in Lincolnton/Crestview. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings under waiver services, helping them identify needs and achieve personal goals.

You’ll wear many hats—advocate, coach, transportation support, and role model—while promoting independence and self-advocacy. Valid driver’s license and a commitment to confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.
• Respect for privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in community and home settings per waiver services.
• Accompany people to work, appointments, outings.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities as needed.
• Promote self-advocacy and independence.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.
