Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities at home in Perrysburg, OH and nearby areas. Training is provided; no experience required. You’ll promote independence while ensuring health and safety.

We offer paid training and benefits (medical, vision, dental, 401k), PTO, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, and flexible schedules. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and a reliable vehicle with Ohio license and insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Own a personal, reliable vehicle for transporting individuals served.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and car insurance.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs., and to kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety at all times.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of daily life.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.
