We’re seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supervisor to support youth with complex medical and behavioral needs in a trauma-informed, therapeutic residential setting. This role blends hands-on support, team leadership, and clinical awareness in a highly meaningful environment.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a shift of DSP staff while working in ratio
- Create, maintain, and model a safe, therapeutic treatment milieu
- Ensure youth safety, structure, and engagement throughout the day
- Coach, guide, and support staff to promote teamwork and professionalism
- Monitor daily programming and intervene proactively to prevent crisis
- Document care, complete shift notes, and follow treatment plans
- Support daily operations including meals, chores, and unit upkeep
- Use CPI-approved de-escalation strategies; physical intervention only when necessary
- Serve as an essential employee and respond during emergencies as required
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience working with youth in a residential setting
- Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and calm under pressure
- Strong communication, boundary-setting, and team-building skills
- Trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
