Seven Hills Foundation in Groton, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supervisor to lead a shift of DSP staff, maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu, and ensure youth engagement.

You will combine hands-on support with team leadership and clinical awareness in a trauma-informed residential setting, providing coaching and crisis prevention while adhering to treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and model a safe, therapeutic treatment milieu
• Ensure youth safety, structure, and engagement throughout the day
• Coach staff to promote teamwork and professionalism
• Monitor daily programming and intervene to prevent crisis
• Document care, complete shift notes, and follow treatment plans
• Support meals, chores, and unit upkeep
• Use de-escalation strategies; physical intervention only when necessary
• Respond during emergencies as required

• Support daily operations including meals, chores, and unit upkeep
• Use CPI-approved de-escalation strategies; physical intervention only when necessary
• Serve as an essential employee and respond during emergencies as required

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of experience working with youth in a residential setting
• Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and calm under pressure
• Strong communication, boundary-setting, and team-building skills
• Trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
