Job summary

Lakeshore Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional Substitute (DSP) to provide direct care and instruction in community residential homes, following state, federal and agency guidelines. You will assist with daily living activities, self-care, personal hygiene, medication administration and safety skills.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and daily pay, with a sign-on bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current valid driver's license; reliable transportation.
• Willing to undergo background checks per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and self-care.

Direct Support Professional Substitute (DSP)

Scope:

Direct Support Professional staff function as members of teams that are responsible for the direct care and instruction of individuals living in community residential homes in accordance with state, federal and Agency guidelines. Direct Support Professional staff will contribute to the creation of a safe, healthy emotional and physical environment for individuals.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting and/or instructing individuals in activities of daily living, self-care, personal hygiene, medication administration and safety skills in their home. Additionally, will assist individuals in attending and participating in community activities.

No experience necessary we will train interested and eligible candidates.
