Job summary

The Community Supports Network in Sioux City, IA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This entry-level healthcare role offers paid training, growth opportunities, and no prior experience required.

Compensation includes hourly pay and schedule options in residential and community settings. Shifts include day and swing hours with full-time and part-time availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to complete job-related training and certifications.
• No degree or prior experience required. Paid training is provided.

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities
• Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests
• Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation
• Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time
• Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans

This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities

Schedule and Location

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Available shifts include
  • FT & PT Day shift (7a-3p)- Saturday through Wednesday
  • PT Day shifts (7a-3p)- Saturday & Sunday
  • PT Swing shift (3p-11p) - Saturday & Sunday
• Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings

Pay and Compensation

• Hourly pay range $15.50-$17.50 per hour
• Shift differentials may apply based on schedule and coverage needs
