Job summary

The Community Supports Network is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This entry-level role offers paid training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team culture.

As a DSP, you will help with daily living activities, transportation, personal care, and community participation while adhering to care plans and safety policies. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Ability to complete job-related training and certifications.
• No degree or prior experience required. Paid training is provided.

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans.

Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities
• Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests
• Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation

Schedule and Location

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Available shifts include: 8:30am-4p, 4p-10p, 10p-8:30am
• Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings

Pay and Compensation

• Hourly pay range $15 to $16 per hour
