ENSEMBLE CARE HEALTH SERVICES INC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living at home and in the community. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and supporting social activities to promote independence and well-being.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available. Paid training is provided, and compensation is competitive at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle with valid car insurance.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to complete paid training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Support individuals in meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and community activities
  • Engage individuals in recreational and social activities to promote independence and well-being
  • Follow care plans and behavioral support strategies as outlined by supervisors
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any behavioral changes
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for individuals receiving care
  • Administer basic first aid and follow emergency protocols when necessary
