Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a part-time role in a residential setting, with a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour and paid training. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time and a $500 bonus for part-time employees.

The DSP will support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily activities and community integration. Must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal care as needed.
• Help attend medical appointments, banking, community activities, outings, and medication administration while following supports and plans.
• Follow emergency procedures and agency policies to ensure安全 evacuation and client safety.
