Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them be active and independent in daily life. This is a full-time opportunity with paid training.

Pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour with a sign-on bonus of $1000 for full-time and $500 for part-time, plus benefits and ongoing education opportunities at Venture Community Services.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active in their lives as they can.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care.
• Help with medical appointments, banking, community activities and outings; follow plans and medical guidelines.
