Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with disabilities, helping with daily activities, community involvement, and personal care. Paid orientation, CPR/First Aid, Safety Training, and MAP are provided.

Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.

Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.

Responsibilities

Advocates and supports adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to empower their independence.
Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, personal care as needed.
Support attendance to medical appointments and community activities; accompany to outings.
Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans as required.
