Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence and safety in daily living activities, community participation, and personal support.

This part-time role includes paid training, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff and $500 for part-time staff, with a schedule that includes Sundays 9a-3p, Wednesdays 2p-11p, and Saturdays 3p-11p.

Qualifications

• 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to speak, read, and write fluent English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule (holidays, overnights, double-shifts).

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, household tasks, meals, shopping, and personal care.
• Support community integration, attend outings, and accompany to appointments.
