Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Massachusetts for a part‑time role (20 hours per week) with Sun 8a-11p and Wed 3p-8p. This position offers paid training and a $500 sign‑on bonus for part‑time staff.

You will support adults 22+ with developmental disabilities by assisting with daily living tasks, accompanying to appointments, and helping them engage with the community to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, or double shifts.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with developmental disabilities; assist with daily living activities.
• Help participants engage with the community, attend outings, and follow care plans.
• Assist with transportation, appointments, and medication administration as required.
