Job summary

Behavioral Health and Developmental Services of Strafford County, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals for Residential Treatment Programs in Lee, NH. You will support individuals with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illness in a residential environment, promoting safety, daily living activities, and community integration.

Hiring for all shifts, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include competitive wages, PTO/holidays, health/dental/vision, FSA, tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide services and support in a residential setting for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and co-occurring Mental Illness.
• Assist with safety, daily living activities, and health needs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members.

The Role:

The Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) will work in a residential environment providing services and support to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and co-occurring Mental Illness. We are looking for staff with experience working with people who may have symptoms of mental illness, behavioral challenges, safety concerns, and possible health issues in addition to their intellectual disabilities.

What we’re looking for:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
• Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage.
