Job summary

The Arc Ontario is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Residential in Geneva, NY to support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, personal care, and community activities. Evening, night shift, and weekend hours available with differential pay for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; one year of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• If driving is required, reliable transportation, NYS driver's license and clean driving record for 1 year prior to hire.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Effective communication in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on assistance, instruction, and training to individuals to develop daily living skills per individualized plan and safety considerations.
• Provides training opportunities to enhance self-sufficiency in independent living.

Salary: $18.91 - $20.14 (per diem/substitute $17.91)
