Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to support children, teens, and young adults with developmental, social, and emotional needs in homes and community settings in Lincoln, NE. The role offers part-time hours (6-20) including after school, evenings, and weekends, with a direct impact on client wellbeing.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $16.00 to $22.00 based on program, education, and experience, plus up to a $500 sign-on bonus after 120 days.

Qualifications

• Age: 18 or 19 depending on program (HBTS/ABA)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass clearances (DCYF, BCI, Driving Record)
• Valid car insurance and registration
• One year of supervised experience with children, or an Associate's Degree in Human Services, or equivalent competency with children with special needs
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; bilingual applicants encouraged
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and sponsorship is not offered

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals ages 3–21 with special needs
• Implement behavior plans and programs developed by the clinical supervisor
• Teach, role-model, implement treatment interventions and strategies
• Collect daily data
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and clinical team members
